i found this ebook on food in south india on lulu.com. the book is a great handbook for outsiders and brings out the traditional food culture of south india. its not a recipe book but a complete etiquette and food guide which will be a real help for outsiders visiting south india. South Indian food are a Popular south Indian dishes like Idli, dosa and sambhar are the most savoured items loved across India and all are the nice and a best taste food and it good for a health also.

I love south Indian dishes too. Too bad I can't have them now. Indian Restaurants here are so expensive. More expensive than scottish restaurants.

In south India you will find varieties of food made out of Coconut. Like coconut milk is used in gravy to make the dish thick, they also make use of coconut oil in each food.

food in south india is so diverse..and not restricted only to the popular idli and dosas as most people know..even me before I started cooking it..realised there is lot to learn..I blog abt tamil food here. NO LINK..do check out ..
