To keep Mirchi powder (chilli powder) fresh for long add some asafoetida powder to them.

To keep banana fresh for long.. Wrap them tightly in news paper and keep them in refrigerator.

Bought honey.. Want to cross check whether they are pure or adulterated one? Pour few drops in a glass of water. If it settles down then it is pure

Wash the fruits and sprinkle lemon juice on them. They will stay good for longer period.

No refrigerator to store broken coconut.. Just apply salt inside the coconut. It will stay long with out spoiling.

To reduce the bitterness in bitter gourd, after cutting them put in the water used for washing the rice.
