    India Travel Destination

India is the land of colors. A land of lakes & rivers, of snow capped mountains & forest-covered hills. A land of diversity which reflects itself in the landscape, the people, the culture, the language & the religions -- each one contributing to the awesome mosaic called India. In India, ages reflect themselves through the monuments viz. Ajanta & Ellora (Maharashtra), Bodhi Temple (Bihar), Khajuraho Temple (Madhya Pradesh), Hawa Mahal (Rajasthan), Red Fort (Delhi), Ancient Temples (Tamilnadu), Taj Mahal (Agra) and many more.... Our Travel Guides would be pleasured to assist you in exploring India.

    Hi all,

This is exclusively for people who love traveling valley, rivers and all greenery places.. Jennyjhon hope you must like this place....

    Kajrat

picturesque valley of Karjat, Maharashtra, Lush Green fields or Wondrous Farm houses, its located just 88 kms away from Mumbai. With its hilly terrains and verdant plains this village is not only a perfect destination for adventure lovers but also a retreat for nature lovers. All kinds of adventure sports be it Trekking, Rock climbing or even River Rafting are practiced here.

The unruffled ambience of this place provides a sneak peek into the traditional dynamic hamlet of India. The Ulhas river at Karjat serves a great base for various seasonal water sports. During the evenings lots of foreigners flock this place. Karjat is a wonderful place whose popularity can be best measured during the monsoon season.

Corbett National Park, has the unique honour of being India's first national park. Anyone who visits Corbett National Park, it sooner or later becomes an addiction.

Corbett National Park, where the Project Tiger was launched in 1973, is regarded as India's finest national park and its major attractions are the Tiger, Indian Elephant and Leopard. Corbett national park is drained by the Ramganga river, the dam at Kalagarh forming a huge lake to the west of the national park. The park is essentially a large low valley.

A range of hills runs through the middle of the national park, roughly east to west. The forests are moist deciduous, with Sal as the dominant tree.Chir Pine trees are to be found on the higher ridges of the hills. On the low-lying areas riverine forests, with Shisham and Khair trees, are intermixed with grasslands known locally as 'Chaurs'.
